About the Isis Foundation
The Isis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity whose purpose is to broaden and enlighten the general public's awareness of the related cultural aspects of Middle Eastern dance. This focus includes enhancing artistic, educational and cultural opportunities for teachers, dancers and musicians to study, educate and perform this ancient art in the highest possible professional manner. The foundation is the sponsor of Yaa Halla,Y'All and the Star Dancer Cultural Dance Team. The international belly dance magazine, The Belly Dance Chronicles, is published quarterly to promote the art of Middle Eastern dance and music.
About the Isis Star Dancer Studio and Academy of Performing Arts
Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, the Isis Star Dancer Studio and Academy of Performing Arts encompasses a family of Middle Eastern (belly dance) and Polynesian (hula) dancers, as well as Middle Eastern drummers (doumbek) and Zumba fitness aficionados. The studio offers a variety of dance, drum, and fitness classes and exciting entertainment offerings.
