Circe joined Isis' troupe in Fall of 1997 after reading an article about Isis in the local paper. Having taken lessons from a community college a few years earlier, her interest was again peaked. She re-discovered the creativity and freedom of expression that Middle Eastern dance provides. Circe says she enjoys dancing because it provides support and friendship for women of all shapes and sizes.
