Layla

Layla is a Star Dancer who has been with Isis' troupe since 1987, and she has received an award for the most improved dancer. She has performed at Mayfest, Oktoberfest, Scarborough, Hawkwood, Riverside Dance Fest, and Riverside Fourth of July. She enjoys costuming, fabric crafts, and is part of the SCA. Layla began bellydancing to have time just for her but says it has since become her sanity saver and the troupe is her chosen family.
