Ahsifa

Ahsifa began taking bellydance in July 1998 after seeing Isis and the Star Dancers at Scarborough Faire. Passionate about this dance form, Ahsifa sees bellydance as a positive art, both graceful and uplifting. Starting dance in 1988 at the Pat Riddle School of Dance in Colleyville, TX, Ahsifa eventually took dance as part of her daily curriculum at her high school, along with two years of drill team. Texas Women's University also provided an intense dance program. Experienced in ballet, modern, jazz and tap, bellydance was love at first sight for Ahsifa. She has danced in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, MayFest, the Celtic Festival, Denton Arts and Jazz Festival, haflas, Hawkwood Fantasy Faire, Scarborogh Faire, nursing homes, private parties, and Byblos Lebanese Restaurant in Ft. Worth, Texas.
