Karyana

Karyana joined Isis’ Star Dancer Studio in 2004.  She is now a member of Isis’ Performing Company and The Isis Foundation Cultural Dance Team.  She has performed at Yaa Halla Y’all, Christmas Hafla, Scarborough Faire, Denton Arts & Jazz Festival, Mayfest and Worldfest.  As well as dancing, Karyana also drums with the Drums of Isis.  She says, “I can’t believe the difference dancing and drumming has made in my life!  I wonder why I waited so long to do something that makes me smile so much!”
