New Beginner FAQs

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable working out in - leotard and tights, sweat suit, or shorts and T-shirt.

 

How much are classes?

Classes are $50 per month. There is a one time $10 registration fee for new beginners. Classes are paid and attended by the month.

 

Can I attend more than one class?

Absolutely. Additional Middle Eastern dance classes are $20 per month. 

 

What if I have to miss a class?

No problem. You can attend another class of the same level to make up. No additional fee. However, make up classes should be attended within one month of the missed class.

 

Do I need to pre-register?

While it is not necessary to pre-register, we do recommend it. We limit the class sizes so that you get the most out of your time with us. Classes fill quickly, so register early!

 

How do I pre-register?

You have three options:

1. You can fill out the mailing list by clicking the link on the navigational bar to the left. Be sure to add in the comments that you are interested in classes so we can send you a brochure.

2. You can call Isis' Star Dancer Studio and register over the phone. Metro 817-498-7703.

3. Click here to pay for you first month's class and guarantee yourself a spot in class. Be sure to tell us the time and day of the class you wish to attend in the box labeled "ordering instructions."

However, registration is not guaranteed until payment is received.

How long is the beginner course?

Beginner classes are six months long. At the end of six months, you graduate. You will receive a diploma and have a graduation ceremony that your family and friends are welcome to attend. After graduation, you will be eligible to advance to the next level.
