We appreciate that you understand
how much time is needed to provide a quality product. This way, we can ensure that our
magazine will be released on time and the events and sales in your ad will be
seen by our readers BEFORE they have expired.
ADVERTISING REQUIREMENTS
Our goal is to deliver the best
quality magazine possible for both our subscribers and our advertisers. We want
your ad to be successful in getting out your message! The following requirements
will help us help you deliver a quality ad: an ad free of smudges, fuzzy lines
and blurry figures!
Files should be sent at 100% actual size and at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (ppi). We prefer file
extensions of TIFF or PDF (high resolution), PSD, EPS and AI files are also
acceptable if all links, graphics, and fonts are submitted OR the file is
flattened. JPG
files will also be accepted, but sometimes are not as clear as you expect in a
magazine of this quality as our publisher prints at 2400 dpi. CD’s are acceptable media to send us your ad; or ads may be e-mailed to
chronicles@isisandthestardancers.com - but CD’s are preferred. Unfortunately, at
this time, we cannot read Corel files or Word files that contain formatting
and/or graphics.
Please convert any color ads to CMYK mode before you send them to us.
Please only send color ads if your ad is to be printed in color! If you
grayscale your color ad before sending it to us, you will be able to make sure
it looks the way you want it and/or expect it to look.
Please provide a hard copy of your ad so that we may proof it and be
sure that it prints the way you want it to look. Fonts and links sometimes do
not translate well between computers, and a hard copy proof will give us an
opportunity to verify that the digital matches with the hard copy.
If you send us a hard copy to be scanned, please make sure that
it is: 1) in perfect condition, 2) of professional quality, 3) in grayscale and
4) the correct size. Please
send us COLOR ads ONLY if your ad is to be printed in
color!!
If you grayscale your color ad before sending it to us, you will
be able to make sure it looks the way you want it and/or expect it to look.
(Each graphics program has it’s own way of converting color graphics to
grayscale, and results may not be the same between computers and/or graphics
applications.)
As our shopping cart is not custom
software, there is no option to attach your ad. Therefore, simply click the email
link at
the bottom of this page to send your file and include the contact information
that was used when ordering through the shopping cart. You may also send your ad
via snail mail to the address below. If your ad is not to be printed in
color, please convert it to grayscale before sending it to ensure that it looks
the way you want it to. We gladly accept ads in .jpg, .eps, and .tif formats.
**Ads not meeting the size
requirements are subject to a 25% surcharge.**

qualifies for a prepaid discount of 15%!
Ads MUST BE the same size and
format (color or grayscale) to qualify for the 15% discount.
